The setting of BODA is really beautiful, you feel like you are nestled between buildings and looking at the ferry terminal building never gets old. The service was very efficient. The starter was a mystery box and everything was delicious, even the slice of cucumber with sauce! The salmon main was better than the beef, although the salmon was slightly overwhelmed by all the other elements on the plate. The beef was disappointing, it was very chewy. Surprising a restaurant like this would serve such a low quality steak, even on a special menu. Their signature kimchi mac n cheese was fine but nothing special. The desserts were very impressive, if you love chocolate then order the BODA egg. We are keen to return and try their sundaes.

Had a lovely experience here at Boda made even more exceptional from the warm welcome by their Manager - Brian. My party and I stepped in without a booking on a very rainy and busy night. We could not find a table anywhere else nearby so decided to give Boda a try as we were also staying in the Hotel Brian found us a space nonetheless and made sure the whole night we were looked after well which we all truly appreciated Also very happily surprised with the drinks and food we sampled. High quality offering, super well presented, great tasting and amazing textures Super impressed and I will definitely return next and every trip I make over to Auckland 😊

My friend and I had a lovely birthday dinner at Boda. The food and drinks were amazing, the staff were kind and attentive. We absolutely love the view and the ambience here:) I would highly recommend Boda for special celebrations!

Fantastic lunch with family, thanks to Boda’s delicious food, beautiful ambiance and stunning views! The kimchi mac&cheese was unexpected, the pork belly was so moist and tender reminiscent of the pork used in bossam but even better, the humble cabbage seared to perfection and drizzled with the most delicious dressing was the winner for me. It cane a wee but late but it’s worth the wait! Highly suggest this spot when you’re in town.
